Our team has over 70 years experience in industrial landscaping and maintenance operations. We are registered with the state of North Carolina as Landscape Contractors. We have Certified Plantsman, Registered Ground Pesticide Applicators, and Registered Land Application/ Residuals Operators on site.

All team members undergo drug testing and criminal background checks. We are a drug free and tobacco free company.

Owners: Gary and Tula Crumpton

Gary is a 1979 graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.S, in Agronomy. He has been with Johnston Nursery since 1982. During his tenure, Johnston Nursery has experienced solid growth and has built its' reputation on excellent service to all of their clients.

Gary and Tula are currently serving with The Mission Society. Their work for the Mission Society involves agricultural projects with the aim of teaching the indigenous people to practice sustainable gardening in order to feed themselves and their families. Gary and Tula will be involved with several projects in the continent of Africa.
